The Council on Foundations and the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers is pleased to present the Foundations on the Hill (FOTH) stipend fund. The FOTH stipend fund offers assistance to foundations across the country, and is intended to promote the participation of foundation representatives at FOTH.
The 2012 FOTH Stipend Application period is now over.
What the Stipend Will Cover
The cost of registration for FOTH is waived for stipend recipients. The stipend fund covers travel (ground and air) and hotel costs associated with the event. Awardees will receive up to $1,200 to attend the two-day event, which includes training sessions and meetings with members of Congress. Additionally, the recipient's regional association receives a $300 award to continue public policy and advocacy efforts on the ground.
Responsibilities of the Stipend Recipient
Recipients of the FOTH stipend fund are required to assume all costs associated with the event up front. You will be reimbursed after all receipts are submitted. Stipend award recipients will be notified by Friday, January 27, 2012.
If you have any questions regarding the stipend fund, please contact Chatrane Birbal or Tim Huber at the Council on Foundations.
