Not sure what to expect?

Learn strategies and tips that will help make your Capitol Hill meetings a success! This session is for first-timers and for veterans looking for a refresher.

4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Legislative Briefing Session
Staff will provide an update on current legislative activities affecting philanthropy and cover the key message points for your Hill meetings. This session is a requirement for all participants.

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

FOTH Reception
Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and beverages as you network with your colleagues from around the country.

Join your colleagues from across the country as we open our day with a breakfast celebration.

Shuttle Buses Take Participants to Capitol Hill

Congressional Meetings

Members of the New York and California delegations enjoy lunch together at the respite room on Capitol Hill.Respite Room Opens

Need a place to go between meetings or to reconvene? Stop by the Foundations on the Hill Respite Room for refreshments. The Respite Room will be open from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Debriefing Session at Respite Room
Location: Reserve Officers Association, One Constitution Avenue NE, Fifth Floor
An opportunity for participants to discuss what they learned and heard from their Senators and Representatives. Staff will also provide some tips on how to follow up and continue strengthening your relationships with your members of Congress.

Council Open House
Following the debriefing session , we invite you attend the Council's Open House reception at 2121 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA until 7:00pm . The building has been designed to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, which means it meets high standards of environmentally responsible construction and provides a healthy work environment.
